  1. to the person that answered before me.... buy yourself a map! Sicily is one of italy's regions... just like Florida is a state of the united states of america..... http://www.globalgeografia.com/italy_reg...

  2. Sicily is actually a part of Italy.  You see, Italy is the boot kicking the football, and Sicily is the football.

  3. difference about what?

  4. two totally different countries

  5. Sicily is the p**p on the end of the boot, and Italy is the boot.

    Italy has money and power

Sicily has mafia and trash all over the streets

    Italy a business can thrive

Sicily a business has a hard time because everything is corrupt.

Sicily has dirty beaches, so does italy

Sicily is just a provice of the entire italy, its still part of italy, just like Alaska is part of America, its a state.

  6. Sicily ( or Sicilia in Italian ) is the largest island in Italy as well as it's own region ( 1 of 20 ). It is the "soccer ball" at the end of the "toe" of Italy.

As an island, it has a lot of history as it was colonised by the ancient Greeks, Moors, etc....

Italy is the mainland and the name of the country.

For more info on both, see the link http://www.italiantourism.com/ and/or http://www.initaly.com/

    Hope this was helpful.

    Ciao!

  7. Sicilly is a part of Italy, The difference? Life is cheaper in this part of Italy, but, if you can, visit this wonderful island and don't miss Palermo (the capital).
