Sidekick 3? Pros and cons? ?

I was thinking about getting a sidekick 3 because it is cheaper and can be used on the prepaid program on tmobile. What are the pros and cons of the sidekick 3. Also how do they compare with the other sidekick like the lx?

I just bought a sidekick last week and it is defintely my favorite cell i've ever had. i love the design and the way the screen swivels around instead of just sliding up. there are of course a few cons as with every phone but its mostly all terriffic.

PROS:

1. very sleek and modern design

2. very easy to use keyboard. perfect for those who love to text.

3. quick navigation as the menu is constantly on the main display and you can easily get from a function at the top of the list to the bottom of the list in less than a second with the handy trackball.

4. uses a lock feature which locks your phone after a certain time period of no use. you can change the time to however long you want and its easily unlocked by pressing two certain buttons at the same time. this lock feature is technically a sleep mode so when it goes into lockdown your phone uses little to no battery.

5. contact list is designed to look like an actual phone book with names on one side and numbers on the other,

6. and of course the IM, email and web if you have it [i use an att sim card so those features are off limits]

7. and the camera, while taking pictures that look grainy and low-res on the screen are actually vibrant and bright when you hook the sidekick up to your comp and view them.

CONS:

1. the mp3 player takes up way too much memory. if i have more than 8 songs on it then i can only have 3 pics in my photo album.

2. the sidekick is very easily breakable since the screen is held into place with a peice of metal that is maybe one fifteenth the size of the screen.

3. for the first day you have the phone it is kinda difficult to navigate but after a few hours of messing with it you get the hang of it and you wonder how you ever lived with old phone.

4. the sidekick is pretty heavy and can definitely weigh down your jeans.

5. its almost impossible to text with just one hand, at least it is for me, since my fingers cant reach across the entire keyboard.

so there you have it.

personally id say get it. i love mine to death and dont go anywhere without it.
