  1. -5 (x^2 -2x +3+6)

    =-5(x^2-2x+9)

    =

    -5x^2+10x-54

  2. (F + G)(-5) = F(-5) + G(-5)

Plug -5 into both functions then add the two answers.

    Should come out to 44.

  3. (F + G) (-5)

    =(x^2 + 3 -2x + 6)(-5)

    =(x^2 -2x + 9)(-5)

    =25+10+9

    =44

    or calculate F (-5) + G(-5)
