Question:

Singing Style? (links work now!!)?

Ok, Im hoping to get singing lessons (. . . so plz dont write 'omg your awful'!!), cuz I would love to be able to sing for fun, but I have no idea what type of style my voice would suit (ie. classical, musical theatre, opera, pop etc).

So if any suggestions . . plz share!!

Also i realsise this is an awful clip to give you lol, but ill try and get another one on here, at the mo this is the only clip I have of me singing!! apologies! (its elvish haha lotr)

  1. hey, you have a really great voice! you have a pretty good control over your voice too...and i love your high registers. from what i heard, i think you would be best for pop or soft ballad kind of music..celine dion style. but you should always explore other genres and see which one's best for you. cheers!


  2. You sound like a woman who was on Hollyoaks who ended up doing broadway shows.

    You have such a musical voice that I reckon would be perfect for  musicals and west end shows.

The human voice is an amazingly versatile instrument, and I firmly believe that anyone's voice can be musical in any style.  The real question is what do you want to sing?  Because if you love the music that love will shine through and make what was just the mere exhibition of a skill into a personal expression.

    Even if you don't believe me it doesn't matter much...singing lessons (particularly for beginners) focus on fundamental skills which you can apply to whatever style of music you wish.
