Sirius and xm merg????

Does any one know when it is gonna happen???

No real answers on the channels as it's up to the FCC which is the last regulator in line..... The chairman of the FCC has advised for the deal to go thru with 5%+ of capacity going to others as well as some other concessions but full rulings are awaiting

It's proceeding slowly. The FCC does not have the final say over this, and I think the Democrats are waiting for the current chairman Kevin "Give The Big Corporations All They Want" Martin to leave before they commit. So, it could be after the end of the year.

Some divestitures by terrestrial radio corporations would be in order (Clear Channel once owned XM stock.)

They keep postponing it so right now it is up in the air, but my personal opinion is that it will happen soon.

Sirius has shown more growth over the past couple of years and has momentum to hopefully compete with regular radio, so I would think Sirius will remain and XM will go bye bye....

1) Nobody knows when it will happen, but it will happen  I think some Congressman raised some more objections.

2) I sure hope not from what I've listened to, Sirius is awful.  Too much repetition, just like over the air radio stations.
