Sis? 6th grade? makeup?

Question

Well, my younger sis is going into 6th grade. she wants to wear eyeline, and mascara. She asked me if she should just wear mascara, eyeliner,(for a more adult look) or both. Help me please!!

P.S. She wants to wear the eyeliner on the bottom part of her eye.

it makes every ones eyes more beautiful.

make shur she knows how to put it on right though.

she could prob go with some mascara too.

if she does eyeliner she would have to not just do the bottom she would also have to do the top so it will level out.

nooooo eyeliner!!! too much! if she wants to wear mascara get the clear one! best! it won't leave dark marks under and around your eyes. i don't wear anymake up except for lipsttick and i'm 15 and 1/2   =]

Hey i am going into 6th grade myself and i also where makeup and why girls are age where makeup most of the time is because usally its beacause we like it more then our natural beauty and if we have older sisters like me i have 2 both in highschool . it will intimidate us to start wearing it because we always see you older girls wearing eye liner and mascara and lip gloss and foundation. but what i think is that going into 6th grade is a muiture grade for girls to start wearing makeup. what I WEAR IS NO EYELINER IT LOOKS LIKE A WANNA BE EMO OR GOTH IN ( 6TH GRADE) BUT I WEAR IS MASCARA A LITTLE BIT OF FOUNDATION AND LIPGLOSS. then in 7th grade thats when girls could start wearing eyeliner. WHEN GIRLS ARE IN 6TH GRADE THEY ARNT LITTLE KIDS ANYMORE THEIR IN MIDDLE SCHOOL NOT ELEMENTARY SCHOOL THEY DONT WANT TO WHERE LIPGLOSS ANY MORE!!! they want to get boyfriends and start being social with guys.

Mascara and lipgloss is good for 6th graders, when she is a little older she should be able to wear light eyeshadow and eyeliner! I am going into 7th and I wear mascara, light eyeshadow and eyeliner on my lower lash line!

No way! she will grow up to be bad because one day she will be doing a ton of make up without asking anyone. if u let her now then she will never stop. no offence

i think she should wear light amounts of both if she wants because she is still young and it would look strange if she wore heavy amounts just to look older

wearing eyeliner as a 6th grader is way to young, she can start at 8th grade

all she should wear now is some lipgloss, and maybe a little bit of eyeshadow is alright

eyeliner is too much for a 6th grader...maybe when she's in 8th..she shouldn't be wearing any eye makeup. she should just be wearing some lip gloss

I recommend not giving her eyeliner until she is a little older.

However, you may want to let her try on some mascara and lip gloss and leave it at that. Any more would make her look... way too old.

Give her clear mascara. In 6th grade, I had my Bat Mitzvah, and wanted to wear a bit of makeup. My mom took me to the pharmacy, and bought me clear mascara, and a light shade of lipstick. After the event, I started wearing the mascara almost everyday, and soon moved up to eyeliner and eyeshadow by summer. Simply talk to her about this, tell her 11 or 12 years old is too young for mega eye makeup, but that you guys can compromise with the clear mascara and softer eyeshadow colors. Eyeliner for special occasions until she's in grade 7 or 8 (that's when I started more with eyeliners, and I felt it was a good pace.) You can always have a makeup party and try various colors. Maybe a brown would be better if she INSISTS on eyeliner, it's not as demanding at black.
