Six Flags Discovery Kingdom?!?

Im goin to six flags discovery kingdom (marine world) tomorrow and it'll be my first time.

Can any1 who has been there give me some friendly tips, advice, or anything to get the best out of my experience.

What should i take with me? i wasnt planning on taking much. last year i took my ipod but this year i might not take that because it only comes in use during the bus ride and i have to deal with the fact that it can get lost or stolen. but this time, im taking my cell phone instead. is that smart? and im bringing a little bag to put a waterbottle in.

And on the thrill rides, can i put my stuff including my phone in the bag and put it in the exit and pick it up after the ride (like i did in great america) or do i need a locker?

is it safe to put my phone in my pocket? i dont think so because my cuzins fell out of his pocket on TATSU at Magic Mountain

well bring a camera and sun screen, because it is very HOT there. you could bring your cellphone if someone you trust is watching over your phone while you go on water rides and rides that go upside down. if your family members that are going with you are not watching over your personal belongings then you should put your things in the locker. do not put your cellphone in your pocket because it will get wet when you go on water rides and your cellphone will fall when you go on upside down rides. its a good thing your bringing a water bottle because as i said before its HOT where you are going and if you don't drink water you will feel weak and get dehydrated.
