  1. I think the one you are thinking of is in Agawam/Springfield, Mass. I'm not into thrill rides but my friends are and they love going down there.

  2. I have been to Six Flags New England!  I believe it's located in Westfield, Massachusetts.  If you're looking for thrill rides, this park has got some crazy roller coasters.  Superman Ride of Steel is the best one at the park, it contains a 22 story drop and goes about 88 miles per hour.  If you're more into loops and what not, then I reccommend Batman, Flashback, and The Mind Erasor.  All three of those have a lot of loops and twists.  Also, if you want to see videos and get more info on the park, just visit www.sixflags.com.  Hope that helped.

  3. It's in Springfield, Massachusetts - just a few miles north of the Connecticut line.  I haven't been there since it was Riverside Park.

(Actually it's in Agawam, but they say Springfield because that's on the map.)

  4. Six Flags New England isn't in CT; it's in Agawam, Massachusetts.  In terms of thrill rides, SFNE does have some that are worth it--Superman: Ride of Steel is incredible, second only, in my opinion, to El Toro at SFGAdv.  There are not nearly as many coasters at SFNE as there are at GAdv--I like GAdv better.  But if you really want to check it out, you won't be disappointed in S:RoS.  The Batman coaster isn't bad either.  It's a pretty great park.
