Sixteenth birthday in... five minutes? :') ?

Being the terrible procrastinator I am, I -still- haven't organised anything for my sixteenth birthday tomorrow. I know, I know. I'm dreaful. But I simply can't think of anything to do. I'm not really into big parties, and most of my friends are holidaying which svcks cause it means I can't even round a few up and go somewhere. Earlier I [jokingly] asked my dad if I could get a personal shopper for the day. I didn't expect him to say yes. :| You probably have to book, or something. Idk. But say I did that [not necessarily tomorrow] how much would it cost and what would be an awesome place to go birthday shopping that's not too far from Hampshire? :) Alternatively, what else can I do? D:

  1. If there is something that you and your friends use to do ALL the time, but don't anymore... I actually find that to be fun. I believe little things are the best in the world. I use to go to this park with one of my friends... and on my 15th b-day, I went there with my close friends and we had a blast. We used sand box and everything.

It may sound stupid, but it is just a suggestion.

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY and good luck

  2. Happy Birthday!!!

Do whatever takes your fancy, or stay on YA all day getting us all figuring out where you need to be going shopping...

  3. Happy birthday sweet sixteen (theres a song there somewhere)

  4. Your lucky coz you don't have school no your birthday (unlike mine :( its on the 4th) go shopping for the day go out for dinner.by the way happy birthday :)

  5. wow a personal shopper.. im not really sure what you can do when i was a kid i just got a present and cake and was happy lol.. whatever you do enjoy it and HAPPY BDAY!!

  6. Happy Birthday i wish you all the best

your 16 means you are in the door way to adulthood i hope you live long find love and keep well, god bless

  7. stop being a spoilt brat first

  8. Okay, though I'm not able to answer the "personal shopper" part, I can throw some ideas out for you.

My only problem is I don't know how much money you can afford or how much you expect your parents to pay.

So, I'll basically throw out ideas that will cost about $500 or less.

*Look at the tour dates of your favorite band. If they're on tour and coming to your state, ask for tickets to that.

*Ask for some electronical goodies. Personal DVD player, laptop,

I-pod/Zune, cell phone or accessories if you already have an MP3 player or phone.

*Clothes. School's starting (or perhaps in session) and you can always use new outfits. Maybe look around online for special items that can't be bought in stores.

*Jewelry. A really nice piece of jewelry, perhaps with your birthstone or a diamond.

Remember: Unless you happen to have millions of dollars, your birthday will probably not be spectacular like on My Super Sweet Sixteen. Plus, you won't wake up feeling like a completely different person just because you're 16. I thought I would (as well as my 17th and 18th birthdays), but it was just another day, plus some candles on a cake. The important thing is to spend the day not dwelling on getting that really pretty brand new car or something just as pointless and enjoy it for what it is.
