Ski Jacket ideas?

Question

I am going skiing tomorrow and i dont have a jacket. Do you have any suggestions? What about wearing layers? I have a waterproof windbreaker- will that work? (its thin but i can put layers under). help!!! I need ideas :) thanks!

Layers are a great idea, I always wear layers that way if I'm warm from exercise or weather I can always take one off or add one if it's chilly.

Try not to wear too much cotton (t-shirts and sweatshirts) because if it's wet from snow or sweat it will be heavy and cold.  Things like fleece or even polyester will keep you warmer.  Under your windbreaker try wearing a fleece jacket and then a long sleeved shirt and an undershirt.

Could you borrow a jacket from someone?

Also, I know that some mountains rent that kind of gear sometimes...

Check and see the what the weather is going to be then you can decide if you want to get a jacket or just wear what you have with layers underneath but I think you should stick to what you have and put many layers on underneath then if you are hot in the middle of the day just take of a layer.

I just went last weekend. I wore long underwear, thin cotton pants, a t-shirt, fleece vest, a light coat and snowveralls (like snow overalls with suspenders). I stayed really warm, and found everything at d**k's Sporting Goods.

I have a Descente jacket and love it. This is a very light but warm jacket made with last technology products. Experienced very cold temperatures in Minnesota (-38°F) with this jacket without problems. Hope it helps and stay warm

I think you should wear the windbreaker but also put a lot of layers underneath. I kind of depends on the weather tomorrow for how many layers u should wear. Have fun!! allie:D

go to the closet stoor,

i bought mine at sears in lands end section

it was marked down and cheap at the time

and i looked great [: lOl

otherwise go to a outdoors stoor and look around,

ask some people
