Slavery-free Shoes?

Question

Does anyone know of shoe/clothing brands that don't use slavery or child labor, and where can I find these brands. Keep in mind I live in a small city and the only places I can really buy shoes would be Wal-mart and Marks Work Warehouse.

google "ethical clothing", there are plenty out there:)

Check production labels on shoes and clothes you are interested in.  If they are made in the US, they were not made with child labor or slaves.  The workers still probably weren't paid great, but it's better than if its from abroad usually.

Well you may have to order them online from a source country that you trust.
