Question:

Slight breathing problems?

Well, toward the end of May, I started getting a bad cough/mucus, and the feeling that my throat had closed up slightly and was pretty dry, so i had slight breathing problems. It wasn't persistant, usually came about in the evenings. I went to the doctor and they said I had bronchitis and tonsilitis. Now, about two weeks ago I went back to the doctor for generally the same symptoms. I had bronchitis again and they gave me the same medication. I finished my medication Wednesday last week. I do not think the throat issue was from bronchitis/tonsilitis. Oh and I do smoke. Could smoking be the cause of my throat "closing" and becoming dry? Or could their be other problems that could cause this as well?

  3. their could be an underlying problem yes but smoking could be making it worse or even causing it. Smoke dries out your throat and if you switched brands or if they changed the ingredents you may even be having a mild reaction. Best thing to do is tell your doc everything.

  4. Smoking certainly dosent help I'd suggest not smoking the entire time the medication takes good luck! If problem persists make sure u go back to the doctors an tell him or her that u smoke and have brochidus! See what they say. Hopefuly they can help! Hopefuly I helped you a little good luck again!

  5. get checked for Acid reflux.

  6. its gotta be the smokes.  I quit around the same time back in May but if you still smoke that could be the problem.  I quit cold turkey and its been tough, But if you stick with it, it gets better and the cravings just disappear.  try quitting for a month and you'll notice that by the end of that month you will feel sick at the smell of cigarette smoke
