the density of copper is 8.92g/cm^3. if you plotted the mass of copper in grams versus the volume in cubic centimeters, what would the slope of the line be?

please show work

  1. Density = mass/volume    

    if your density is constant, your mass varies in proportion with it's volume inorder to maintain that constanuity of Density.  Thus it would be a straight line with slope of your mass divided by your volume

    in this case the slope will be 8.92

    if your y axis is the mass (g), and x axis is the volume (cm^3)

    the slope of your line would be 8.92 with an intercepting point at  the origin.
