Small bugs on my body?

Question

twice now in the past month i have found a small spider loking bug the size of a small freckle on my body. is this normal or should i be concerned. also what is it and is there more from where they came from? i found one on my arm and the other going down my shirt

It sounds like it may be a tick, if so, yes you should be concerned since they carry lyme disease.  Were they dug into your skin with little pincers on the front?  If so, that would indicate a tick.  If you do pull them off try to save them in a jar and have them identified, only certain ones carry the disease.

This sounds like body lice.  You can visit your doctor for a specific diagnosis.  Treatment is sold at most pharmacies, such as CVS, Rite Aid, Osco, etc. Just look in the same aisle as hair lice treatments.  I would also advise a hair lice treatment, too, as they may have migrated.

PS: Lice actually are more likely found on people who have really clean hair/bodies.  People who rarely bathe have a build up of natural body oils which make an unsuitable environment for the lice to live.  Don't let anyone have you believe this is because you may be a dirty person.

It's probably a tick.  I've never heard of such a thing until I moved to the Midwest for grad school.  I NEVER go outside anymore if there's grass around-especially in long grass.  I think I'm just too afraid it'll happen to me.

Could be ticks. Google images and see if they look like ticks.

Especially if you have pets or go outdoors in the woods.

you may possibly have body lice or cooties.  you can go to a drug store and buy things to help treat this.  good luck!

These could be crab lice. You'd know if you had them because it would itch like crazy.  They're easy to get rid of by using a special shampoo you can buy at any drugstore.

every house has spiders. there is probably more where that came from. my house has fruit flies. just be glad you dont have mice.

ewwwwwww omg that is so groose theyre 3 things u need 2 do take a shower, check 2 see if u have lice crawling on your body, or go to doctors and get checked.

You have nothing to worry about, this is just BODY LOUSE, I would recommend taking baths/showers once or twice a day.

If you can afford to burn all the clothes that you have been wearing during this period, boil them if you cant. Do this in an open fire or etremely hot water.

The same goes for you bed sheets and other materials like lankets and stuff.

Note : You doont need to see a doctor just daily bathing and wearing clean clothes.

could be all kinds of things, lice, any sort of parasite, that kind of thing. although, it could possibly be morgellons...

Omg !!!! they could be ticks !!!

Were you able to squish them ? If not they're ticks check your hair and get others to check your hair its summer time so people are more likely to get them

they carry diseases such as lime disease and many more check all over your self for more and if you find them light a match and burn them because that's the only way to kill them

the next one you see take a piece of scott tape and place over it lightly, don't smash it  and tape it on a white sheet of paper and take it to a local hardware store that sells pest control,. someone there should be able to tell you what it is. this way you know if it is body lice or ticks and how to treat the infestation

ticks? the things that live on hedgehogs, they cling on to the skin and drink blood, cats/ dogs pick them up, just luike they would fleas i supose! that maybe what they are
