Small speech problem??

Question

Ok well sometimes at speak really fast and some people find me hard to hear. When this happens I also have trouble with sounds. This is a bit of a problem at school. It is not at all a daily problem but just happens sometimes. Like for example today i'm like to the teacher "Do the poems have to be rhyming?" and she didn't understand the word rhyming. I don't usually like continually repeating myself until people hear me because its a bit embarrassing so one of my friends just acted as sort of a translater. And thats the thing my close friends and my family can always hear me?? Even when I try to slow down some people (ocisionally) just can't hear me. I'm not at all shy or quiet but I don't no what to do about the problem, any ideas/coments??
