Small straight eyelashes.... any ideas? solutions?

Hi there

I have small straight and quite stubborn eyelashes... They are thin and not dark but fair.

I would like the have denser looking and curled eyelashes (longer too if poss)

I have a curler but i don't think its good quality as it bends them more then anything else,

do you have any mascaras to recommend?

any solutions?

at nite put vasoline or patrolium jelly on there.

it really works!!

ull get thicker blacker and longer lashes in like 2weeks!

i am not sure if you have a metal curler but i think they work better.

try not holding the curler on them for too long cause i have experienced the same thing were they bend. just try only holdint the culer on for at the most ten seconds.

and as for a mascara try a not real real expensive one but neither a cheap one go of an in between one and aply it as yuo blink, example: hold the brush near your eye lid and then blink do this over until you get the look you like.

Even with a very good mascara, if you have certain type of

eyelashes , there is only so much ;you can get out of them.

You may not mind curling them for 5 minutes each time.

The other thing you can do is get some false eyelashes

to add volume to yours and it would make all the difference;

in the mean time, with a good mascara , if you persist, you

should see some difference for sure.

I use Max Factor 2000 Calorie mascara and have never found one better.

Did you also know that you can now have your lashes tinted and even permed!  I only found out about the perming recently.  It is safe and effective.  It should last a couple of months.

I think you can also have semi permanent lash extensions which last a few weeks at a time.

get a good volume mascara...I have the same problem and I find by putting it on it makes them look twice as long. when its dry i put a second layer on and it looks like ive fake eyelashes on =]

a good way is to condition them first

get an eyelash come then dip it in vaeline (or put vaseline onto your eyelashes) Comb the comb through you eyelashes, then get an eyelash curler and curl your lashes, do this twice leave for a bit then add an eyelash conditioner, then put on a good mascara(One that creates volume length and seperation)

follow these tips to make your eyelashes look thicker and longer

1- Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. Some women have eyelashes that grow in many different directions. Curlers help to bring them together to unify the look. Bring the curler as close to the base of your eyelids as possible. Squeeze and hold for 5 seconds , try shu uemura Eyelash Curler

2-Move your curler up the eyelash slightly and squeeze for 5 more seconds. This is to make the lashes have a less severe curl. It looks much more subtle. Repeat these two steps on both eyes. Your eyelashes should already look a bit longer.

3-Untwist the cap to your mascara, and pull out the applicator. If the brush is curved, hold it so that it fits the contour of your eye. If it is straight, it does not matter which way you hold as long as it is horizontal. Place the mascara brush on the underside of your upper eyelashes as close to your eyelid as possible. Move it back and forth horizontally about 5 or 6 times.

4-Extend the mascara applicator brush over the length of your eyelashes. Now the base should look thicker and there should be color on every inch of every eyelash. Sometimes eyelashes look short because they are so light in color. A dark mascara will take care of that

5-Wait 5 minutes and apply mascara again. You want the first coat to be dry. This second coat is meant to thicken the entire eyelash. There is no need to brush horizontally at the base again. Just brush the length of the eyelash on each eye.

Apply vitamin E oil to your eyelashes to stimulate growth. This vitamin is known to cause hair growth and sooth scalp irritations, so if you have eyelash loss due to irritation, this may reverse it. Apply the oil to your eyelashes with a clean eyelash brush. The act of brushing your lashes regularly may also stimulate growth.
