So, I really love warm milk with honey and vanilla in it, it helps me sleep. I usually go to bed fairly late, but what is a good snack involving cinnamon I can make that is healthy for you, ( yeah a really RANDOM question..)

  3. Rum Raisin Bread Pudding

    3 cups milk

    3 tablespoons butter

    1 teaspoons vanilla extract

    1 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    3/4 cup packed brown sugar

    3 tablespoons rum

    1/2 cup raisins

    7 (1/2-inch) slices brioche bread, cubed or torn

    4 eggs, beaten

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large saucepan, add milk, butter, vanilla, cinnamon, brown sugar, rum and raisins and heat until warm. Simmer and stir until sugar dissolves.

    Into a large bowl add the cubed bread and pour in the hot milk mixture. Let sit for 30 minutes so the bread absorbs the milk.

    Add the beaten eggs to the bread and milk mixture and stir. Pour bread pudding into a buttered 1 1/2-quart baking dish and bake for 50 minutes.


  4. Cinnamon Toast Pecans

    2 tablespoons butter, melted

    2 tablespoons light corn syrup

    2 teaspoons sugar

    1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    4 cups (about 1 pound) pecan halves

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F.

    Stir together first 5 ingredients. Add pecans, tossing to coat. Spread coated nuts in a single layer on a large jellyroll pan. Bake for 1 hour stirring every 15 minutes. Let cool; store in an airtight container up to 2 weeks.

    Something I used to do when I was a child.

    Place a small amount of olive oil in a frying pan and throw a flower tortilla in the pan. Cook until crisp.

    Sprinkle a little sugar and cinnamon and cut. So good when warm. This also works really well with flat bread.

    5 cups honey graham cereal

    3 cups bear-shaped graham cookies

    2 cups ramen noodles, crushed

    3/4 cup sliced almonds

    1 cup golden raisins

    1/4 cup honey

    1/3 cup butter or margarine

    1 tsp orange juice

    Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

    In a large bowl, mix honey graham cereal, cookies, ramen noodles, almonds, and raisins.

    In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter, and blend in honey and orange juice.

    Spread over the honey graham cereal mixture, and toss to coat.

    Spread mixture onto a large baking sheet.

    Bake 10 minutes. Cool; store in airtight container.

  7. cinnamon toast crunch cereal,cinnamon graham crackers, or you can just put cinnamon on any random fruit and see what it tastes like. You might be suprised.

  8. You can cut the core out of an apple, stuff it with cinnamon, sugar, chocolate chips, nuts, ect... then cook the apple! Mmmm baked apples are so good. There are lots of yummy things you could stuff them with before you cook them. I guess its KIND of healthy.

  11. when I was little my mom always gve us cut up pieces of apple with a sprinkle of cinnamon on them. sometimes a bit of brown sugar too.
