  1. one word: practice

  2. PEOPLE WHO SAY PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT ARE WRONG

    2 HOURS BAD PRACTICE

OR 1 HOURS GOOD PRACTICE WITH A GOOD TECNIQUE

YOU WILL IMPROVE MORE WITH 1 HOUR

GET YOUR TECNIQUE GOOD. PROPER CUE ACTION

    MAKE SURE YOUR CUEING STRAIGHT

    GET SOME GOOD ROUTINES

AND YOU WILL COME ON LEAPS AND BOUNDS

must have a good base to build on

see a coach as i did if your keen to improve your game

  3. By getting a cue that suits you and as every one else is saying PRACTICE!!

What I find a good way of practicing is lining all the ball in the middle of the table . Put the colored balls on their spots and the red balls beside them. Try pot a red then a color.

  4. PRACTICE, PRACTICE, PRACTICE, and a soft touch when shooting

  5. Hi,

Most important thing is to find out your dominant eye first. To do this, stretch out your arms and hands and close them together to form a small triangle with your index fingers and thumbs.  Look through the triangle with both eyes to find an object afar.  Then keep still and close one eye at a time.  The eye that still see the targeted object is your dominat eye.

Second, you need to have a correct stance: the bridge hand on the table, body on the side, front leg slightly bend, rear leg keeps straight, hip is just beside your cue hand, elbow at right angle to the arm and cue, and align your target line: cue, shoulder, arm, and cue hand al in one straight line. Then you rest your right chin just above the top of your cue if you are right eye dorminated, or you rest your left chin just above the top of your cue if you are left eye dominated.

Thirdly, practice - from beginner drills to advanced drills.  The first most important drill for beginners is the Cue Testing Method by which you send the cue ball from the Brown Spot of the baulk line to the far end, hit the cushion and come back on the Brown Spot again.

Lastly, find a good book from the library. The old ones are much better! The coaches in those days are better writers, I think. Try "Snooker" by Ted Lowe, A&C Black, London.

        Good luck!

  6. Practice! Practice! Practice!

    Good Luck!

  7. PRACTISE

  8. practice is the main thing but one way to perfect angles is pool golf. what you do if place the white on the middle of the baulk line and then put one colour on at a time and randomly throw it side to side on the table. you have to pot the ball in the least amount of shots, this can also be played as a two player game

  9. When you break, break soft so the red balls dont scatter everywhere.

Don't always shoot for the higher point ball after making a snooker red ball. shoot the one you can get best shape on next that will lead to being able to shoot longer at the table.

Practice banking because the pockets are so snug.

  10. plenty of practise good luck
