Snow Mobiling in Finland?

I am suprising my bloke with a snow mobiling holiday in Finland for his 30th, i have never been anywhere that cold and have no idea what to wear day to day or out on the snow mobile, can anyone tell me what i should take to wear? Help please

  1. Now that the global warming is upon us as well, there is no use to wear all your warmest clothes usually! The temperatures in the winter are averagely around -10C to -20C these days even in Lapland, so I suggest you to use so-called layers, i.e. have about 2-3 underwear layers under the outdoor garments without too thick wool pullovers (which are not usually very handy when being actively out and about). Plus, it is much easier to either add more layers or remove them when the outdoor garment isn't too thick.

    Welcome to my home country which is not at all as cold as you might think that it would be!!!
