  1. and if you avoid burton even cheaper

burtons not the best you know, just the biggest

  2. yo bro tips for ya here burton not gonna be cheap but if you shop ebay

    youll get crazy good prices

and go to www.buysnow.com crazy deals there too.

and im taking it your new to this whole sport.

dont wax your own board unless your just doing rub on wax.

if you hotwax it your self you self you can  really s******g up your board

there are lots of things that can go wronge like shrinking the base under your bindings and cus divits were the screws good AKA NOT GOOD TO DO.

just go to your local sports place like sportschek ect...

and they will hotwax tune and sharpen your board for like 15-20 bucks

good deal if you ask me.

and uhmm the size of your board

stand tall and have someone mesure you from your feet to your bottom lip, and that will be the perfect size board youll need.

boot size is pretty much your shoe size but go a half size bigger so you can get some nice comfy socks in there.

bindings go by the sizing chart the company lists for you and then compare to your boot size and your golden.

    ok so now board care

dont ride over rocks and trees and your good

also never ride it with out wax it will wreck the base of your board and the little pours i the base will open up and allow moisture to build and wreck stuff. and  in the summer time do your board a favor and just dust it off every now and then.

    full burton set up $400-660

    good luck

  3. for good gear all burton... round $900, but since you're a beginner i take it?... around $600 should get you what you need

  4. I think Burton's start at 300$

    Boots 100-150$

    Bindings100$

    Total: 300-350$

Then you need wax, iron, and an edge tuner or a file.P-tex (for filling scratches on the base), and some 2 part 2 ton epoxy (good for chips/cracks on your top sheet).

  5. at a local snowboard shop...around this time of year...i got an amazing burton board for $200!!! definately get one on sale.

boots average around $100, same with bindings. i ride alllll burton and got everythind for like $450! love love love burton.

a small tool kit that you could bring up on the slopes is nice: screwdriver to tighten bindings and wax etc.

but go into a snowboard/mountain shop to get the blades sharpened as needed or whatever repairs need to be done.

    good luck!

    hope this helped

This would be a sick combination for you!

  7. since you want a burton board, it won't be cheap. look into other brands too, ride and rome are good brands and more of a reasonable price.

    board: $300+

    boots: $130+(i suggest thirty-two)

    bindings: $170+

    rub-on wax: $4

    hot wax: $10

don't store your snowboard in the heat. put it up verticlely so the flex isn't screwed. i don't know what else.

i spent about $830 on my set up( end of year sale ftw!) it's considered cheap i think, even though it's a lot of money.
