  1. Oakley A frames. Comfortable and fits small to medium faces. This should fit him just fine, and the view is really clear with oakley's high definition optics. Fits Helmets perfectly. And they look cool.

Your best bet would be the Oakley A frames, But if you dont like them, try checking out these other companies.

    DragonAlliance.com (also an oakley company)

    Electricvisual.com/splash.php

    Vonzipper.com

    Anonoptics.com

    Spyoptic.com

These goggles dont come cheap, so if you were looking for cheaper ones, just get the more generic ones like Smith and Scott, they have some great looking goggles, but theyre not very good..

  2. it doesnt make a difference. they pretty much all do the same. just when ur at the store let him try some on and  he will see basically the only thing that matters is the size of them and how comfortable they are on his face

  3. i like scott, but there's really no difference unless you want like uv protection, and stuff like that

  4. Goggle choice doesn't have anything to do with his skill level but since he's pretty serious about it it might be worth ponying up and spending a few bucks on something he'll use for many seasons to come.

I'm a fan of Spy goggles.  Anon and Smith are pretty sweet too.  Just head into a board shop and chat up an employee and see what they have on offer.

You might want to get him a pair with swappable lenses so he can use them on all kinds of days whether it's low visibility or super sunny.  Expect to spend at least $100 for a nice pair.
