Snowboarding tips please?

i have been boarding for a while and can ride really well, but i just can land jumps or nail rails. any tips for nailing rails and landing jumps?

When riding any type of rail...make sure you focus on the end of the rail,its as easy as that also make sure you have enough speed so that you can reach the end of the rail.

as for jumps as you aproach a kicker dont make any sudden movements as this will alter the way you take off.also bend your knees on take off and landing and try not to land to much on an edge otherwise...well you know what happens when you catch an edge !!!

its just like neil p said bend the knees, stay straight when going to the kicker, dont catch an edge focus at the end. but the number one rule is dont start thinking about a crash most wreck are due to a slip in concentration. the best way to learn is to go out of your comfort zone and challenge yourself! dont be scare.

ps buy a helmet it could save your life r.e.d. and giro make some really good ones look for them on ebay

The best advice anyone can give for snowboarding is just stay relaxed.  If you get to nervous and think about the jump or rail to much you will have much less success.  Just stay lose and go for it the more times you attempt it the better you will do.
