Snowboards!?

im a snowboarder! i just got a used board from my friend does it matter that my friend rode goofy and ride regular? could i just re-do the bindings? its easy ive done it before. right! thanks!

  1. No, it does not matter. Boards are not stance specific.

    Just swith the bindings (put the left foot one in the front).

    Don't just rotate the bindings around - most bindings have

    a left and a right binding.

    If you're in a hurry, just ride the board backwards.

    It won't hurt the board, and may not even feel all that different (depending on the board design).

  3. It's no big deal at all.  You just have to turn them around.

    Most boards are directional (meaning the nose is slightly different from the tail) so you'll want to unscrew the bindings, take them off and remount them so the left binding is at the front and the right is at the back.  It shouldn't take you more than five or ten minutes.

    If you're not comfortable doing it any shop will do it quickly and for no more than $5 or $10.
