do you think that picking your nose and eating it is a learned behavior? would this ever occur to a person to do this unless he saw someone else do it first? my child never did this until he started 1st grade in the local public school. before this, he was always home.(where he never saw anyone do this before)

When it happens during schoolage time, I would have to say yes, it is from seeing others do it. If it happens prior to that it is just a stage of curiosity.

hmm, weird. i'd think that it gets to be natural to pull something in your nose that feels weird. and to eat things that are small.

If something is in your nose and it is bothering you, it is nature to pick at it... it is not learned... the eating it part might be... I dont know
