So why was Forpadydeplasterer beaten yesterday? He’s got form over Golden Silver.

Barry Geraghty, rider of Forpadydeplasterer, said: “He ran a great race but I’d say it was as much the ground and that Aintree and Cheltenham have taken their toll. He ran a cracker and is a genuine horse. I just said to the lads when I came in that I wouldn’t question his attitude - he is as game as a lion and gave me loads.”
