Soap Opera original couple?

Was Nick & Sharon Newman the last of the soap opera original first marriage couples? What other couples are currently on their first marriage that is longer than 5yrs?

lauren and michael have only been married since 2005, so i think nick and sharon are the only ones!

I can't think of anyone on CBS Soaps...I belive you are right. At first, I was like "Oh...this will be easy to answer." It's not...and it's kind of pathetic that we can't think of anyone (because their aren't any) Oh well, they are sooooooooaps.

edit: Brandi- Tom had been married before he married Margo. Same with Dr. Bob Hughes (he married someone before marrying Kim). Just thought I'd let you know :)

If I can recall correctly, I don't believe that Malcolm and Olivia of Y&R ever got a divorce, I believe they married in the late '97 or early '98. He was just presumed dead for two years if that at all counts.

On ATWT: Tom & Margo Hughes have been married for over twenty years, they've had outside flings, but they've always worked though them.

Also Bob & Kim Hughes (Tom Hughes) dad on ATWT

Bo and Billie was before Bo and Hope if I remember right.  So on Days it's only Bo and Hope.
