Soaps on a plane?

Long:

I'm going on a one week Vacation in Florida to visit some friends and experience the scenery. While packing I remembered 9/11 happened and put back the soap I was going to bring. I also started to pack my toothbrush, but noticed it was in need of replacement, so I went under my sink and got a new one.

While doing thing, I noticed two hotel sized plastic soap bottles labeled "Shampoo" and "Conditioner". Alas, there was no body wash. I did however find a very clean cracker barrel maple syrup bottle and at 1.7 fl oz, so it doesn't break any crazy airport rules about being too big, but it is however made out of glass. Is this an issue?

Short:

Can I bring soap on a plane contained in a glass bottle if the bottle is still below 3 fl oz?

  1. check  with someone at the airport or ask on the plane site or something different places different rules but if your nervous or not sure just don't take it and buy a new one wen you get to were your going easy as that

  2. Yes! As long as the liquid is in a 3 oz or smaller bottle, you are good!

  3. yes u can bring below 3 fl oz

  4. Yes.  There are no restrictions on the material of the container (which I find odd), just on the size of it, and that it must fit in the one-quart sized ziplock bag.
