Soccer fight today...?

I play soccer every tuesday and thursday at this park and there is this very rude guy named eric. He disrespects me whenever I come inside and want to play. He keeps restating I'm not invited and where I came from (this is a pickup game btw and there is no need to ask so you can play). I came in a few days back to play and he told me that infront of all the people. So today I go in to play and he does it AGAIN! I've had it this time. I blew up. I yelled at him and told him to go s***w himself and that he has a big mouth and attitude problem. I'm wondering what you guys would do if you were in my place with such an obnoxious person trying to humiliate you infront of people you don't even know?

Honestly, holding your emotions on this dude takes alot more guts and deserves more respect than that dude who gets his jollies off making himself feel like the bigger man by humiliating another. You're standing up for yourself and there's nothing wrong w/ that. Next time, ignore the dude like u can't even hear him. Walk away, cuz remember, what goes around comes around. He'll get what's coming to him one day. Just chill and maybe find another park if he's still a pathetic loser.
