Socialism! i need help!?

Question

i dont need a dictionary definition of socialism; i need one i can understand.

so please if you could explain what socialism is in easy words and maybe some examples of it.

Socialism is when government controls almost all levels of people's lives. Government owns crucial industries, hospitals, transportation, education, banks, oil companies, etc. Citizens loose most of their human rights and are heavily taxed to support this big and often oppressive government. In communist theory, socialism is a temporary social arrangement, which is gradually replaced by communism. We in America have been blessed so far for being spared from the disastrous consequences of communism, but we are on a very dangerous road towards socialism. After many years of experimentation with socialism we see that this system is a cancer of our civilization, because people in socialist countries do not have enough children, and therefore slowly die off.

Socialism is where everybody has the same: same opportunities, same wealth, same healthcare, same education, same wages. Socialism is felt to be flawed because it discounts people who work harder, better and longer. It spreads the wealth by taxing the rich and using the money to provide for the poor.
