Softball and soccer??

So i am a 14 year old girl and i'm about to be a freshman. I'm pretty athletic and i love sports. I started soccer when i was 4 and i played it every chance i got but when i was in 7th grade i quit and played volleyball instead. I decided i would like to do soccer in the spring again but i'm scared that since i haven't played in two years i might be bad now so how can i train and improve my skills once again? By the way i'm pretty fast but i usually prefer to play defense so how should i improve my skills?

I also want to start softball in the summer but i've never played before except for in PE and my teacher said i was a natural so i thought i'd give it a try. Are they any tips you can give me for when i start softball? How can i get good enough to feel confident playing with girls who have played a long time and this is only my first year at it?

Any help you can give me is appreciated

Thanks :)

  1. For soccer, just start moving around with the ball and make sure you are in shape! High school soccer is very tiring! I would suggest  you try running everyday for 20-30 min.

Also juggle everyday, dribble, and do basic exercises to help you get familiar with the ball again! Good Luck!
