Software Install Problem

After installing the program Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6 the process says to reboot and then XP will not “nomal boot”. I have to go into safe mode and restore to a point before installation. When XP then comes up it has a window that says “The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).
