Question

We have a Bosch dishwasher and it would not run. searched the bosch site for quite a while and was sure with the little information I could get that it was a clogged intake filter.

WRONG!! Flood shutoff. I followed your recommendation and used a basting swirter thingee (since my shopvac is at our weekend place (I have named "Rancho de Trabajo" because all I do is work.)

Well, it worked! Since today is Sunday and tomorrow is Memorial day, You saved us.
