Some questions about macau?

which country does macau belongs to? Is this city as famous as las vegas and monte carlo? where should i go if i travel to macau? whats the special thing about macau?

Macau same as HK, we r belongs to China after 1997. they handover us back to China fr British + Portugal. mmm....compare w/ Vegas. i dun think so as Macau is so so small. if u drive fr 1 end to 1 end. i think it's no more than an hour if no taffic jam. Macau do hv famous casino's groups but beside the casino itself.... there's not much interesting to c. i use to visiting Macau v often as my mum lives there after retired

China as far as i know.

they're all quite big the cities. and all famous. thing is they are in complete different places so the people who go there are mostly the ones who are around.

yes as famous but if someones in nice,france they don't exactly travel to las vegas to gamble.

each place is good (been all three). they arent too different because its all abotu the casinos and most of the casinos are from other places . like the wynn is now in macau too.

macau special? has alot alot of chinese people over the weekends because they come across from Hk and china to gamble and have a good time.

you shouldn't go to macau for longer than a day. or the night. (stay in HK or wherever and take a boat across for the day)

you should go to this italian restaurant near the coast. its inone of those portugese tiny lanes close by.... name doesnt ring a bell though.

you should bungee jump of the worlds highest tower there , or atleast do that jump/dive thing (like bungeeing , but cord around your torso not legs)

they have these tourism magazines wherever you go in all these restaurants and buildings. free magazine you can pick up, printed by the government to promote macau. includes a long list of every restaurant by category, things to do , places to see, places to stay according to budget etc.

that magazine will help.

about the non casino part of macua? the tiny lanes with the whole portugese feel to it. the people, not the tourists but the ones who have settled there and work there and school there are the fun,inviting,helpful type.

It belongs to China. It is Las Vegas oriental. First, you can go to a casino, second, you can go to another casino to get luck if you do not think you are fortunate in the first one. The museums in Macau are also attractive because Macau was the colony of Portugal
