  1. The ONLY safe way to get rid of head lice permanently is to use a totally natural alternative to the chemical preparations then use prevention methods such as hairspray and tea tree mixed with water in a spray bottle every day to ensure they never return.

Before you listen to anyone advising you to repeat your pesticide treatment please consider the following:

No chemical head lice treatment is legally allowed to be labeled as 'safe' as every insecticide is a poison. Every pesticide preparation has the potential to do serious damage depending on the individual. If a lice treatment does not work once it is not going to work twice, in fact the lice that live will breed into a whole new batch that are resistant to that chemical.

Read these articles and try to find a natural remedy containing Neem oil as this renders the lice unable to breed therefore making it impossible for them to build up a resistance.

Feel free to check out the articles at the following site for more advice.

    Good luck.

  2. the anti-lice shampoo has to be used as per pack instructions. otherwise it doesnt work.

  3. use tea tree oil or lavender oil, make sure that anyone who has been near you has been treated otherwise they'll give it to you again.Hair bleach gets rid of headlice - not other colurs, the hairdresser will not  do your hair if you still have the lice - it would finish off her business.

  4. I work in a pharmacy and i believe i here the pharmacists recommend the product Nix. Hope this works for you, how embarrassing would it be to get turned down because i lice. Good luck!
