there are 24 students in rs. Andres's Homeroom. The office has asked her to send 3 students to the office to bring 3 boxes of yearbooks back to the classroom. How many ways could she pick 3 students to go to the office? the answer is 2,024 but how do you get the answer?

It's when you use combination or permutation....well in this case,,, you would combination, since the order of kids don't matter.

u jus do...

(24!)/(3!)*(24-3)!

this wud giv u...

24!/(3!)*(21!)

den u cud write it as...

(24*23*22)*(21!) / (3!)*(21!)

simplify it 2...

(24*23*22) / (3*2)

this gives u 2024
