  1. I honestly don't know... I drew s*x pictures on my PSAT's... they don't mean anything... just think I drew s*x pix on mine, then got a 1360 on my SATs...

  2. yeah, borrow some psat books at your local library...

you can practice out of those.

if the library don't have a wide selection, or if they're all checked out, you can buy a psat study book with lessons and practice tests at a bookstore like borders or barnes & noble.

don't worry too much at your psat. study as best as you can, but if you don't do that great, it will not be the end of the world. it's just a practice for the real sat. and it's not going to affect your chances of getting into a good college.

    =]

  3. If I were you I would just "briefly" go over SAT books. It is really not that important. The PSAT's I FAILED, but I still got into college. It's just a "test" that prepares you for the real thing SAT's. Don't worry too much over it since I barely even remember taking PSAT's and I am going to be a college freshman.

  4. the psat is just a test that you don't exactly have to take. it is the sat. the psat is the PRE SAT. but just do your best. i did it too and i did really good. just study your math and don't leave any answers blank and do the easy questions first. skip the hard ones ;) and then come back to them if you have time. they do that on purpose to get you to spend all your time on the hard ones... stupid jerks lol! but ya i dont think the psat is a requirement.... good luck!

  5. if this is your first time taking it I would actually suggest you don't study. You want to know where you are at without studying. Then you study hard for the real thing. There really is not any way to study for the psat anyway. You just need to relax, go in there and take the test. There is no pressure for this one.   Then you can take a class so that you are ready for the real thing.  You will be fine.

  6. If you've ever done an ERB, the PSAT is basically like that, only with less categories. But here's some help with preparation:

The PSAT/NMSQT test website actually has a preparation page, complete with practice questions. Here's the link:

    http://www.collegeboard.com/student/test...

Another bit of advice? Breathe. Don't freak out. Nothing's worse for test-taking than panic.

  7. didn't they give you a practice version of the test?? they are supposed to.

if they did i would hire a tutor and just go through the PSAT one question at a time with them.

    good luck :)
