Something about the Indian cricket team......?

What do you think about India winning the idea cup? Was it just luck? Or was it the Indian team's hard work? Or Srilanka's bad luck? Surely, Jayasuriya played well with 60 runs. And I wish you people won't support India being an Indian or support Srilanka being a Srilankan. So do one thing, mention your nationality!! (I know it's stupid all right? But you need some craziness in life, isn't it?)

Not having seen the  matches I don't know how either team performed, apart from reading about SL's great bowling. But that bowling wasn't enough it seems in the long run,as their batsmen, apart from one or two didn't hold up their end. So I guess India did better on the whole as they won. BTW I am an Aussie.

I cannot see Sri Lanka being weaker than India.In matches which matter most like tri series finals,Asia Cup and recent 2007 World Cup,Sri Lanka have always been better than India.

But Dhoni did a marvellous job as he becomes first Indian captain to win ODI series in Sri Lanka.Maybe,India's time has started to dominate.

I wouldn't say that India worked really hard for this win as Sri Lanka's batting performance of recent times is absolutely poor and Sri Lanka should be happy that the Champions Trophy was postponed as they wouldn't have had a chance.

However India bowled superbly and batted fairly well and they should be congratulated on taking home the series.

however Sri Lanka will not leave without their pride this dead rubber match will be taken seriously from our players. Well that's what Mahela claims, i hope he's right. We need as much confidence for our batsmen as we can get.

No it was not luck, You cannot win three matches with Luck alone. They played well. esp. against Mendis. Dhoni played with purpose, he got support from his young brigade. The Lucky part is the toss. Dhoni winning all, and batting first in D/N matches is an advantage.

Sri Lanka did not bat well. What Indian youngsters did, Sri Lanka failed to do. Their experienced players tried to put up a fight, but nothing from their younger players. Sangakkara's form is worrying.

Yeah, I'm Indian. And I support good cricket played by any team.
