Question

Well, I went to get my chinchilla out his cage and he's normally like really hyperactive and whatnot,but today he is like all drowsy and stuff. Is it because they are nocturnal and sleep during day?

Chinchillas are nocturnal and and should only be played with at night. How would you like someone waking you up while you were trying to sleep? Keeping them up during the day is unwise. Do make sure that your chinchilla has a secure and quiet place during the day so he can sleep.

chinchillas are nocturnal and so you shouldnt be worried about it. dont wake him up because that sleep is really valuable

I'm not sure about chinchillas, but I know lots of rodents like to rest during the day. Im sure its fine. If its not take it to a vet. Good luck!
