Songs from mac uploaded to pc?

I have a mac at home and pc at work and I uploaded all of my songs from itunes from my mac onto my external HD. I just uploaded them to my pc and places all of the songs into itunes, but when I click on a song it says it is unable to locate it. Is there anyway I can play these songs on the pc??

Did you open them directly from the external HD without copying them to your PC? That is the most likely cause.
