Sony Bravia KDL26S3000 TV

Question

I own it for less than a year - stopped going on this afternoon. - when it is switched on either by remote or directly, the green light comes on and is followed by the red standby indicator light which blinks for 8 blinks at a time and nothing else happens. What can I do??
