My TV has been great since I purchased it. Today I have no picture, just a black screen. I have no sound either. I can't get a menu or any of the TV functions to show up on the screen.
It isn't the cable box either, as there is no picture for DVD's either. If I try and use the TV/Video option on the remote I have seen a very thin green line glitch across the top of the screen for a couple of seconds, and then back to all black. The green line does not always show when I am trying to switch inputs.
We have not spilt anything on the TV, had a change in weather, moved it, or given it any cause to just stop working. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
Corbett RobertsonWe have the same problem with our Vizio. The sound works fine but the screen is completely black. DVDs don't show up on the screen either. The picture actually QUIT while we were watching it - it just went black, while the audio continued. We tried powering off and everything, but the picture has never come back. Now we don't know if we should try to repair or just buy a new one!
