Sony TV won't turn on :-(

Question

Hello there, I have a Sony kv-40xbr800 and when you try to turn it on it sounds like it's going on, but instead the red standby light just flashes. I have seen SEVERAL other posting on Google where others are having this problem with the same tv. Do you know if there is a way to fix this?
