Where in the Uk would be a good city to have a weekend break to celebrate?

Well I'm 18 in 2 weeks and me and my boyfriend are going to Edinburgh. There are festivals on and loads of decent shops apparently. Depends what you enjoy doing really! x

blackpool is always a good weekend away or brighton too. It all depends where u live and how far u are prepared to travel

Blackpool is supposed to be good. Really it depends on what area your from? How far are you willing to travel? What kind of celebrations are you going to be doing? How much are you looking at spending?

My partner celebrated his 18th at Butlins in Minehead. Don't go there, its not very good for an 18th celebration. I went abroad for mine.

If your looking for somewhere you go out clubbing of an evening and excitement during the day - I would suggest to stay at Alton Towers or near there and get tickets for there. It is expensive though!

It depends what kind of person you are and what you want to do?

For the night life, London or Newcastle (I live outside of Newcastle and it is a city that never sleeps)

Out door person, then I'd suggest the Lake District.

Also, if you have a passport, check out your local cheap flights... Dublin, Paris etc...
