Sound card help with dell computer!?

i just recently resetted my computer but i forgot my sound card. my old one used to be windows 2000 but this time i used windows xp. so I'm guessing that my old sound card wouldnt work with windows xp. it used to be hercules and im having trouble using that on windows xp. i have a very very old dell computer. please tell me what you think my sound card is. and i also tried sound blaster but that doesnt work either. and if possible, please send me websites where i can download it. thanks!
