Sound drivers are not installing..?

i am using intel G845 motherboard sound not coming i installed sound drivers also .. now i am using the sound card .sound coming ..i want the sound with out sound card ...what can i do

just right click my computer, now left click properties, click hardware, now click device manager. In device manager check whether sound and video controllers icon shows that sound card is present by clicking the (+) plus by the side of the sound and video controllers icon. If it shows the sound card by the name say realtek ac97 or any other name, uninstall that driver by right clicking on the icon and left clicking on uninstall. Now go to control panel and click add or remove programs. A menu will open, from there, you remove all the audio drivers installed previously, that may be high definition audio driver package, realtek ac97 drivers, realtek high definition audio driver or any other audio drivers. Then reboot the system. When the system asks new hardware found then click cancel. Let the system boot completely. Now install audio drivers. In between installation of audio drivers if the system shows new hardware found then just cancel it and let it do other things automatically. Now reboot the system. Your computer's audio system will start functioning.

Check that you plugged in the speakers and check the volume k**b. Sounds obvious but it never hurts to mention it.

This prob basically arises when sound drivers are not compatible. U didn't mention d source of drivers frm where u hav installed them. Always install sound drivers (n other drivers) from d original CD provided along wid d mother board. Same drivers may b available on net also, but there is a question mark on their reliability.....!!

Second common reason is the improper installation of drivers. Uninstall n re-install d same

Third xtreme reason may b dat ur windows is not properly installed. In dat case reinstalling windows is d only option.

Another reason may b dat u have upgraded or updated something, which has caused in-compatibility wid sound drivers.So check for any such upgradation..
