what are two facts about south america that start with a L

becayse i tried to look it up but i couldn't find any really

Lima = Capital city of Peru

Largest River in the World = Amazon River has more water in it than the next 10 biggest rivers in the world COMBINED

Lovely Ladies = Venezuela has the most Miss Universe Winners

Language = Brazil is the largest Portuguese speaking country in the world (I admit I was incorrect about it being the only non Spanish in South America)

Llama = an animal (i believe related to the Camel) often used to aid transport of goods, in places such as the Inca Trail in Peru , the way horses are used to carry equipment on their backs in North America.



Lake Titicaca - South America's biggest lake, and is the largest lake in the world above 2000m. (thought i owed you a new fact since I made the other mistake).

-Regarding the response to the poster below me, Brazil is not the only country in south america in which spanish is not the official language.  Spanish is also not the official language of Guyana, Suriname or French Guiana (all south american countries).
