Space Mountain- Disneyland?

Question

I will be taking a trip to Disneyland soon, and my dad wants me to ride Space Mountain with him. I've never ridden it before b/c I'm not a big fan of roller coasters, especially in the dark. My main question is:

Does the ride go upside down at any point during the ride?

Not necessarily a loop, but upside down at all.

disney rides tend to be fun more than scary. i'm not a huge rollercoaster fan but i love space mountain :) its euphoric lol. i went on it over and over again

No, it twists and goes on its side a little but no it doesnt go upside down!;)

dont worry i hate rides that go upside down too!

Its soooo fun, you will enjoy it, i promise!

It's not scary or too hard AT ALL.

Some ppl even say its too mild, but since im scared of RC then i love it lol

No.  Its really not that bad.   Never even close to upside down.

nope not at all i was actually kind of disappointed because i didn't go up side down. Overall it is a good ride and i love it! it just turns and goes fast. I dont think any ride at Disneyland goes upside down actually.

It's pretty fast and definitely dark, but the ride does not go upside down.

It's so much fun! The whole experience takes your mind off that you're actually on a roller coaster. No loops, no nothing. There is one drop that's practically nothing, just for effect that goes along with the music. Basically, you just feel like you're in space, hence Space Mountain. If you really want to know how the ride is (since you can't see it in the dark and all) go to the Disneyland Museum (I think) It's right next to the Bank (Where APs are processed) and across from City Hall once you enter Disneyland. There is a model of the ride. Check it out and see if you can handle it. Hope you have a lot of fun at Disneyland!

Space Mountain has many turns and a few small "hills" but there are no inversions. There's ambient lighting so it's not completely dark.

No, it doesn't go upside down. It's a really smooth and fun ride.

I've probably ridden Space Mountain a dozen times.

Space Mountain has no loops. It used to have a couple dips but since they revamped it I think I only felt one. Its fun and fast but not what I would consider scary in the least. People scream because its dark and you can't see anything.

Have you rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad yet? If so, Space Mountain isn't that much different. Its just dark. If you haven't done Thunder Mountain I would suggest you start there.
