Speaker Help!?

Question

What kind of speakers are better for the front and which are better for the back of my car?

Are 2 ways 3 ways or 4 ways better for the front and which are better for the back?

Please explain your answers.

2 ways all around.  3 way and 4 way is all marketing hype. and amp the fronts and ditch the rears for better sound staging. unless you care about sound for your rear passengers then just hook up some to headunit for rear fill

you want the BETTER of the speakers in the front because they are closer to you, and those are the ones you would be hearing mostly

a 2-way, full-range speaker has two drivers (a tweeter and a woofer) which handle, respectively, upper frequencies and mid-to-low frequencies. A 3-way speaker, on the other hand, might offer a tweeter to handle high frequencies, a mid-range driver to handle — you guessed it — mid-range frequencies, and a woofer to handle lower frequencies. and a 4-way usually has two tweeters

for best results go with components, because you dont have one speaker trying to do the job of 2-4 speakers (but they usually require an amplifier for best results)
