i have a speaker system for my laptop that has a subwoofer, two speakers, and a control thing. When i go to change the volume the music gets really loud and then soft. It barely ever stays at the same volume. I know its not my laptop or my ipod. Anyone know what to do?

  1. Check your connections and see if they're tight. If the problem still exists, then change to a different audio source (i.e. using a new CD and a new player). If it still happens, then plug different speakers or headphones into the laptop and see if you can hear the same thing as the speaker, if it is then there is something wrong with your notebook audio. If it still persists, test the speaker on another form of audio output, such as a MP3 player, and if the problem persists again, then it is something with the volume control, and you would have to send it back to the company.
