Special Needs Program?

Ok so i have to observe kids with special needs as a project and i dont want to go to a reg school cuz they usually dont have a good program....what school has a great program for special needs kids? and btw i live in N. hollywood so somethin close would be great.

i think theres one that starts with an L like loems or something...would u guys know anything about it?

  1. You need to call first. Most places will not let you come observe without setting up an appointment. Use your phone directory.


  2. public schools have special needs programs, it depends on which public school you go to.  the ones where I live have many special needs kids, not all the same but with different degrees of problems.  Or try a special school specifially for like autism or some other kind of problems.  good luck!!

  3. look on the department of education website

    or in the yellow pages for special needs schools

    If your in college-don't they have a list of schools tehy often work with--

    if not call the nearest college and ask for tehir suggestions
